Bill Hammill, Jr.
Director of Education

Bill Hammill Jr. has been a licensed real estate professional as a salesperson, broker/owner, trainer and educator since 1976. Since 1995 he has trained thousands of real estate licensees. Bill has been the Director of Education for Real Estate Educators since 2005. He has written a variety of Real Estate Continuing Education courses and is a certified Accredited Buyer Agent Instructor. He also holds the Certified Career Development Specialist (CCDS) certification. Bill enjoys sharing his real world knowledge and experience in the classroom and his philosophy is to "Never Stop Learning!"

Karen Cummings

Karen H. Cummings is licensed by the PA Real Estate Commission as an educational instructor teaching a variety of continuing education courses and taught pre-licensing for seven years In addition, Karen is a technology trainer with her broker whose duties include training sales associates various e-Commerce computer programs & tools including RPR, Took Kit, Docusign, Visual Tour, Microsoft Outlock ®, etc. Karen and her husband Brian have been selling real estate since 2003 and have achieved several sales and customer service awards including Chairman's Circle, Andron Epiphanon, Who's Who in Real Estate and Top 5 in Real Estate. Karen also manages the family real estate investment business which includes four properties totaling 41 rental unites.

Linda Brennfleck

Born and raised in the city of Pittsburgh. Linda Brennfleck formerly managed a mortage office for a bank based out of Charlotte, NC which gave her experience in lending, appraising and marketing. She acquired her real estate license and worked in real estate sales for 20 years before joining a large local real estate firm as Manager and Business Coach of a branch office of 70 agents. Linda has been a licensed instructor for Real Estate Educators since 2005 instructing Pre-License Courses as well as a variety of Continuing Education courses. To quote Linda, "My passion for real estate and teaching goes hand in hand and enables me to do what I love to do which in turn gives me satisfaction and gratification that not only am I sharing my years of knowledge, I am also helping, guiding, teaching and inspiring others to fulfill their dreams of success."

Joanne Crocker

Joanne has been in the mortgage lending industry for over 20 years. She has worked as a loan originator for several large Real Estate Brokers and Lending Institutions. She was a successful Realtor® for 7 years prior to that. Joanne also has a BA in Marketing from Bay Path College located in Longmeadow, MA. In 1990 she began teaching Real Estate and Finance courses for LoDolce Academy for Real Estate. Joanne has been an instructor for Real Estate Educators since 2005 teaching Real Estate Pre-License and Continuing Education courses. Joanne loves teaching and incorporating her knowledge and experience in the classroom.

Cheryl Hawn

Cheryl Hawn received her real estate salesperson’s license in 2002 and has worked in the real estate industry for the past 15 years, successfully completing approximately 500 transactions. Cheryl’s experience and education allowed her to obtain her Associate Broker’s license and she has consistently increased her knowledge base by completing the necessary education to obtain the following designations: Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource certification (SFR). In addition, Cheryl has also worked as an agent mentor and new agent trainer. Cheryl is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh.

Ed Carney

Ed has been a licensed Real Estate Instructor in Pennsylvania since 2001. Ed was licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson in 1993 and has been licensed as a Real Estate Associate Broker since 1996. He brings to the classroom a wealth of real world real estate experience as a salesperson, branch office manager and instructor. Ed is proud of his ability to introduce and connect students in Real Estate Pre-License classes to the resources needed to complete the coursework and pass the Real Estate exam.
